Why doesn’t the pen write immediately?

If using a new cartridge or converter, it may take a few strokes for ink to flow.

Ensure the cartridge or converter is fully seated and gently tap the nib downward once to assist flow.

What if the pen skips or doesn’t write smoothly?

Common causes:

– Ink flow not fully primed

– Paper quality (very glossy paper may cause skipping)

– Dried ink in the feed

Flush the nib section with lukewarm water and allow it to dry before reassembling.

How do I clean the pen?

Flush the nib section with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.

Let all parts dry fully before reinstalling the cartridge or converter.

How often should I clean it?

Every 4–8 weeks with regular use.

Immediately when switching ink colors.

Can I use other brand cartridges?

Yes. Any standard international ink cartridge is supported.

 

Can I travel with the pen?

Yes. Keep the pen upright during flights and ensure it is properly sealed to minimize pressure-related leakage.

 

What if I damage the nib?

Ventura II features replaceable nib units.

The nib itself is compatible with standard #5 nibs.
